I Am Hungry and Angry

As Abang Anthony got his free food from the food plan scheme for the inbound team, I had asked him to accompany me to go the kedai makan opposite the office. I thought of having Nasi Goreng Ayam Kunyit and Teh O Ais Limau (the usual menu for me that is). I waited for almost an hour (which was the standard duration of the lunch hour provided to the staff), but except for the drinks nothing came. I was so pissed off that I decided not to mentioned anything when I pay for the drinks after the one hour was up (normally I would just to avoid the waiters from extending their necks and looking for the customer, which in this case is me).
This is how the Malay Restaurants lost to the Mamak's. Have you guys ever checked out on how the Mamak's Super Speed is? The moment your butt is seated on the chair they are already ready with their pens and receipt waiting to take your order (if not they will be there with the memories, notice how they can take a long list of orders just by memorizing it; of course there will be a mistakes in delivering the orders later.
The only time when you will need to wait a bit longer, normally not more than 10 minutes, will be when they have to freshly cooked your order. Orders like Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng Mamak (which is by the way the most famous menu on each and every Mamak Restaurant there is).
I will definitely remember not to go the Malay Restaurant during peak hours. I think after 2pm would be nice. Sure, I will be a bit hungry by then but I can be certain that I will get my food. :)

My oh my..... was I hungry up til the time I went home. Poor me...Wrong timing.
